Background
Dr. Oo received his M.Eng and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National University of Singapore, in 2003 and 2009, respectively.
He joined Temasek Laboratories @ NUS as a Senior Research Scientist in June 2025. Previously he was with A*STAR Institute of High Performance Computing as a Senior Member of Research Scientists.

Research Activities
- To conduct research on electromagnetic waves radiation and scattering phenomena in large and complex objects and environment, and develop modelling and simulation algorithms
Research Interests
- Fast Computational EM methods for modelling of large and complex problems
- Radio wave propagation in indoor and outdoor complex environments and wireless signal connectivity and coverage in complex environments
- Methods and algorithms development for power and signal integrity and EMI in advanced IC packaging and electronic systems
