Sharing on 3-month Attachment at ST Satellite Systems & Low-Earth Orbit Simulations

"I was attached at ST Satellite Systems in the period of Aug - Nov 23 as a part of my graduate programme, and worked on numerical simulation methods to understand the forces acting on different satellite designs in low-earth orbits. Visiting Professorship at TUM Institute of Flight System Dynamics

DESCRIPTION

“During June 15 – August 14, 2023, I was a visiting professor to Technical University of Munich (TUM), Institute of Flight System Dynamics in Munich, Germany, under invitation and support from TUM, and in the capacity of a staff from Mechanical Engineering NUS. In that 2 months, I was working on counter UAS (interception of multiple targets by swarm of targets) project with the team of researchers in TUM from both Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at TUM. I also worked with Universitat Bundeswehr Munich, Technical University Braunschweig and German Aerospace Research Center (DLR) in Bruanschweig. Hence, in this talk, I will share my experience and the technical knowledge learnt, especially on multi agent task allocation & task scheduling, multi-agent path planning, drone detection and tracking, mid-point guidances, and other related topics in C-UAS.
