Mr SIDDHARTH, Sunil Jadhav, Associate Scientist, email: email@example.com
I am an Associate Scientist in the AeroScience group. My primary research interests are experimental fluid mechanics, particle image velocimetry, vortex dynamics, and aircraft design. Currently, I am working on experimental and computational aerodynamics of flapping wing MAVs, and optimization of propellers for a micro quad-copter MAV.
I graduated from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa campus in 2016 with a B.E. (Hons.) in chemical engineering. I completed my Bachelor's thesis titled 'Morphing of Airfoil using MFC Actuators' here at T-lab in 2015 under Dr. Marco Debiasi's supervision.
After graduating from BITS in 2016, I worked at India's National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore as a research assistant. I developed a preliminary aerodynamic framework for the conceptual design of a solar powered UAV. Thereafter, I joined the Mechanical Engineering department of NUS as a research engineer to work on experimental aerodynamics of flapping wing MAVs using stereo-PIV.
I love reading, playing cricket, running, cooking and traveling in my free time. ( My personal website: http://www.temasek-labs.nus.edu.sg/~tslsisj/ )
